2009 New York Yankees Preview
The Blue Workhorse 2009 Outlook:
Remember last offseason when the Yankees didn’t pull the trigger on any big name free agents or trades? That certainly went out the window, didn’t it? After missing the playoffs for the first time since 1995, the Yankees spared no expense this offseason. They shelled out over $400 million dollars in contracts to the top three free agents on the market, C.C. Sabathia, A.J. Burnett, and Mark Teixeira. The Bombers also spent $1.4 Billion on their new home across the street from the “House that Ruth Built”. The project is expected to be first class in every way and should be a great venue.
AND…more…including why the Hometown feels…The New York Yankees WILL win the World Series…
