The Blue Workhorse Week 2 NFL Power Rankings

This week’s Sports Blog NFL Power Rankings have now been posted by our buddy James over at NE Patriots Draft. Along with James, The Sports Dollar, My Sports Rumors, World of Isaac, and our site have ranked all 32 NFL teams.

After their wild 41-37 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles (last week’s #3 team), the Dallas Cowboys are again the unanimous #1 selection. Pittsburgh is again #2, but there definitely has been some shuffling beyond the #2 spot. Find out where your favorite NFL team ranks this week: Sports Blog NFL Power Rankings.

In the mean time, here are our rankings for the Sports Blog NFL Power Rankings. Unlike, the other individual sites, we have multiple opinions combining to form our rankings as each of our four writers rank the teams, which combined form The Blue Workhorse NFL Power Rankings: Week Two.

Our friend James over at NE Patriots Draft asked us to participate in his “Sports Blog NFL Power Rankings,” and naturally, we jumped at the opportunity to show off our advanced abilities at ranking teams (or something like that).

James has each person’s rankings listed and something interesting that each person had to say. Needless to say, however, our rankings are a little bit different than the other 4 blogs that participated.

Thanks in Order

I came to the realization last night when I almost forgot to say thank you to my girlfriend’s mother for taking her family and me out to dinner at Longhorns that I’ve not been giving out enough thanks where they are due lately.
Because every once in a while you need to thank those around you [...]

Mr. 4.27 Seconds = Future Trouble?

Unlike the NFL’s offensive rookie of the year and Pro Bowl MVP out of the University of Oklahoma, who has repeatedly shown he is “a bright, articulate and classy young man as well as a terrific football player,” questions about McFadden’s character are starting to become as numerous as the ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs.’

McFadden is currently battling a paternity suit, and according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, McFadden “told a team during an interview Saturday night that he has two children on the way.” Add in two altercations outside of night clubs (one in July 2006 and the other last month) as well as allegations (that were later retracted) that agent Mike Conley Sr. helped him purchase a Cadillac Escalade, and McFadden’s character has become something that is being questioned by NFL coaches and front office members alike.
