It’s back. After it appeared that everyone enjoyed the inaugural edition, the Wednesday Workhorse Links (as it will be known until someone helps supply a better name) is back again.

  • Year-end awards - ESPN’s Jayson Stark gives his MLB year-end awards but not just Cy Young and MVP. He’s got the LVP (Least Valuable), Cy Yuks, some great stat lines from the season, and great quotes from great sources such as Ozzie Guillen, Joe Maddon, and late night talk show hosts.
  • The new blackout - What do you do when you are as bad as the Syracuse football team? Try a new take on the blackout?
  • Kiffin in Orange? - With Lane Kiffin getting the boot from Al Davis in Oakland, there has been rampant speculation about where the young head coach will end up next. Could he replace Phil Fulmer at Tennessee?
  • Pass or Catch in ‘08? - With the election year upon us, the question Texas Tech wants you to ponder before casting your vote is “Pass or Catch?”
  • ‘Why I Pray for Tebow’ - As if Tim Tebow doesn’t have enough pressure in Gainesville…
  • What? He has to pay child support for 9 kids. - NFL running back Travis Henry, currently out of the league for failing multiple drug tests, doesn’t appear to be getting reinstated any time soon after he was arrested for trafficking multiple kilos of cocaine.
  • Atlanta Hawks mix - hawksno1fan has gotten me pumped up for the impending NBA season with this great mix. Even if you aren’t a Hawks fan, you should just watch all the Josh Smith highlights (and how many times he throws Rajon Rando’s stuff into the front row.
  • Win an Iron Man DVD - All you have to do is make fun of Terrell Owens.
  • NFL Mock Draft - James over at NE Pats Draft has his latest 2009 NFL Mock Draft available.
  • And last but not least…Gina Carano says MMA reminds her of sex. I’ll believe whatever she says.
