Becky Hammon, have you no shame?

It is bad enough one communist regime, China, was graced with the ability to host the 2008 Olympics.

Now, in another direct slap in the face to democracy around the globe, a citizen of the nation that shines as a beacon of freedom and liberty to that world is playing for a country that strives to take away the freedoms of their own peoples and the peoples of neighboring nations.

Over-Hyped Fizzle Being Called A “Fight”

Leave it to the WNBA to provide what is sure to be the most overblown sports story of the week.

Several people asked me throughout the course of the morning whether I had seen the “brawl” between Candace Parker and some other WNBA player, who still is not relevant enough for me to remember her name on any of the sports highlight shows.

The buzz was enough for me to actually spend my valuable time on the internet for video of WNBA footage. Big surprise, what I saw thoroughly disappointed me.

Historic Night in Atlanta

Confetti rained down upon the floor.

Every fan stood cheering.

Tears of joy streaked down the faces of some players while others rummaged through a box of t-shirts that had been saved for the occasion.

A victory marked something that had never happened before at Philips Arena occurred.

Enough is Enough

I know there are some followers of the WNBA in places like Knoxville, Storrs, CT and other cities that have successful college teams, but does that really justify the prolonged existence of this bore?
